Summary: Faced with a highly-compressed, aggressive schedule, Berg moved into high gear to install electrical systems for two existing two-story shell buildings slated to house Amgen offices, conference center, cafeteria and computer-networking systems. “Amgen was set to vacate other buildings, so there was zero flexibility in their move-in dates for Building 91,” said Berg Project Manager Darren Murray. “Our tremendous manpower resources in southern California and the dedication and expertise of up to 100 electricians on site enabled us to install 160,000 feet of conduit and 600,000 feet of wire in just 12 weeks – and move Amgen in on time,” Murray added.
