Summary: The new Fort Bliss Brigade / Battalion IBCT1 & IBCT 2Headquarters Facility’s consists of two 3-story headquarter office buildings. The US Army Corps of Engineers has called for Bergelectric, in a Design Assist role, to install an extensive amount of under-floor communication systems. Bergelectric is responsible for the complete installation of all electrical, tel-data, and fire alarm/security systems in both buildings.

Lighting control systems are installed for both exterior and interior lighting. The interior lighting controls include occupancy sensors and A/B switching systems.

Bergelectric installed a 300KW Generator, a 105KW UPS System, and a 400amp ATS system. Construction on this project is expected to be complete in January of 2011.
