Summary: Bergelectric recently completed the Cagan Crossings Library – a 30,000-s.f. library that replaced the Citrus Ridge County Library in Clermont, Florida .
Along with the backup generator for the community room, Berg installed a fire-alarm system, lighting and low-voltage lighting controls, as well as ac complete tel-data cabling systems – all designed by Matern Engineering of Maitland, Florida. The most difficult aspects of the library were the block construction, high-tower areas and the 14-month project duration.
The two-story Cagan Crossings Community Library was designed by Harvard Jolly, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based architectural firm noted for its expertise in educational and library design.
