Summary: Cymer is a high-end laser manufacturing company that is in constant change due to evolving technology and ever changing worldwide demand. These challenges and tight production schedules require the Cymer facility to have reliable power and maximum flexibility in design to allow the implementation of unpredictable changes without stopping or affect ongoing production. This was accomplished through bus duct isolation switches allowing any portion of the bus duct to be de-energized for modification or repair. The distribution boards were designed with rack out style breakers which allows them to be removed and installed without de-energizing the board.

Onsite detailers for both the mechanical and electrical team were required to keep on schedule and to fit the massive amount of water, gas and bus duct required to facilitate the laser manufacturing process.
