Summary: Hoffman Construction was in charge of the third and final phase of the project which includes the 1,240-bed, men’s medium-security facility. Bergelectric originally joined Hoffman on the first phase to construct ductbanks and manholes and returned for the final phase to add site lighting, power distribution into the buildings, interior lighting and mechanical power – which was designed and engineered by DLR Group.

One demanding task that this project entailed was the coordination with the casting yard for the precast panels to ensure electrical raceways and boxes matched up with those installed within the building.
