Summary: The Colorado Department of Labor is enjoying the benefits of its new 4-story addition, an expansion of the existing, occupied building in downtown Denver . A “green building”, the 44,000-s.f., LEED-certified facility was designed by David Owen Tryba Architects and constructed by Hyder Construction.
Without interrupting workflow, Berg maintained power to the occupied building and effectively coordinated materials delivery to the busy urban site. Berg’s team also devised custom equipment that connected the existing electrical to the new service – all within the confined space of an old electrical vault. |
