Summary: At over 1.1 million acres of land in both Texas and New Mexico, Fort Bliss is the largest U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and is the only Army training installation in the continental US capable of firing long-range Air Defense Artillery missiles, such as the Patriot and HAWK.
During the nine-month assignment, Berg provided a comprehensive infrastructure of electrical, fire alarm, mass notification, as well as voice and data systems for this Temporary Unit of Action. In an unprecedented effort, Berg personnel were able to prefabricate and deliver nearly 40,000 feet of ductbanks, more than 900 light-fixtures assemblies, and 120 conduit stubs or assemblies, as well as accurately laying out over 550 underground electrical services for the project.
