Summary: It’s no secret that internet-based businesses have skyrocketed the American economy to heights never before imagined. Inflow, a collocation and data center solutions provider, has become an industry leader in just a few short years. From offices across the country, this Denver-based company offers integrated services for e-commerce and other web based businesses—from complex hosting to connectivity to security. Inflow’s Network Access Centers offer shared, state-of-the-art facilities and expertise that allows their customers to focus on the core competencies of their respective businesses.
The new Inflow regional office in Irvine, CA, is an important milestone in the continuing success of Berg’s Orange County office. Berg’s scope of work for this 30,000-s.f., high-tech, data communications facility includes multiple generators, UPS cabinets, AC as well as DC distribution, fiber-optic raceways, and an elaborate lighting package. A turnkey project, Inflow has an eight-week condensed schedule, mandating frequent and effective team communications among the general contractor, vendors, owners, and the Bergelectric office and field personnel. According to Berg Project Manager David Jacques, “Bergelectric’s prefabrication expertise gives our team a valuable edge on the project schedule. There are more than 800 workstations in this facility that are situated over a raised floor. The raised flooring offers easy access to the systems’ infrastructure and gives Berg an opportunity to prefab a substantial amount of the electrical installation.” |
