Summary: The South Waterfront, the largest and most expensive redevelopment effort in Portland history, has just transformed an abandoned 130-acre industrial brown field along the Willamette River into a multi-billion-dollar high-rise neighborhood.
More than 30 acres within the South Waterfront has been designated The River Blocks – where the new $90-million John Ross Condominium Tower plays a pivotal role in this exciting phase of Portland’s evolution. The tower, which is becoming a Portland icon, was uniquely designed in a distinctive elliptical shape.
Berg was responsible for the main electrical service, power distribution, lighting, utility, phone and cable service, emergency-power, tel-data, security and fire and life-safety systems.
