Summary: In a design-build effort with Carter-Burgess, Bergelectric provided over $1 million in cost-saving ideas for this project. This collaborative endeavor included design of a complete fire-alarm system and low-voltage pathways for security/CCTV. Berg has also supplied all electrical, lighting and dimmer controls and branch power. Berg’s Fire Alarm/Security Division installed the fire-alarm wiring and component equipment.

Electrically, the new facility is linked to its elderly counterpart, as well as City Hall, and the new infrastructure tie-ins had to be completed without interruptions to the existing buildings.
