Summary: In 2003, Berg joined forces with Suffolk Construction to complete a spectacular new oceanfront property: Marriott Vacation Club International Newport Coast Villas. Flanked by Laguna Beach to the south and Newport to the north, the 75-acre timeshare property boasts spectacular ocean views and is just minutes away from the exclusive shopping, entertainment and fine dining venues of California’s Gold Coast.

The construction was spearheaded by Suffolk, with Berg’s Orange County office providing a full spectrum of electrical services. Berg’s scope of work for the five-star property encompassed lighting for the common areas and individual units, plus all site lighting – including dry utilities for each building via a joint trench and complete electrical installation of all timeshare units. In addition, Berg was responsible for the fire-alarm systems, voice/data/cable TV and low-voltage cabling for the 116-unit project.
