Summary: Berg broke ground on the 1 million square foot casino, parking structure and pedestrian bridge for the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino on December 1, 2003 and was completed in November 2004, two months ahead of an already rigorous schedule. To accomplish this fast-track feat, the project had as many as 1,000 construction workers on site to deliver an amazing average of 3,000 square feet of space per day.

The San Manuel deisgn team incorporated two different under-floor systems within the structure. The upper level used an H. Roberson Deck system while the casino level used the traditional “Walker Duct” system. This required Bergelectric to work with both factories and the design team to ensure that the project stayed on schedule and the owner ended up with a versatile wiring system.
