Summary: Working with general contractor C.W. Driver, Berg built out Macy’s and Robinsons May for the 650,000-s.f. first phase of the Simi Valley Town Center.
Berg crews provided department store anchors with comprehensive electrical system including fire-alarm, security and energy management that helped them run an efficient and cost-effective retail operation.
Phase II provided for a third anchor, up to five specialty stores, six restaurants, a food court and 120 higher-end shops. The retail center is the driving force behind a $200-million mixed-use complex that ultimately included multi-family residential, hotel and office space.
