Summary: Located at the Florida State Fair Grounds, the $14-million project included a main stage, covered-seating amphitheater, concessions, restrooms and a backstage area for performers and VIPs. Berg drew on its expertise in outdoor entertainment venues to install a variety of lighting throughout the project site. In addition they provided primary conduit infrastructure, a 5,000-amp, 480-volt electrical service and telephone and CATV service conduits.
Also on the grounds is a 7,500-s.f. administration building, which houses the box office and radio tower. The VIP and backstage area required electrical and phone services for buses and convoys. Three concession structures total more than 10,000-s.f. Other facilities on the grounds included a main entry gate with themed lighting and signage, a corporate hospitality area and walk-in coolers.
