Summary: Denver encompasses a vital 23-block area that is known as the Lower Downtown District, or LoDo – as it is affectionately called by Denverites. An exciting blend of history, architecture, culture and commerce, LoDo is home to Berg’s latest Denver venture: 1400 Wewatta – a 600,000-s.f. mixed-use complex that includes the nine-story Wewatta building and Wynkoop, a 10-story companion project.

Bergelectric is working in a design-build capacity with Opus Northwest, which both developed the project and serves as construction manager. Owned by Crestone Partners, the complex includes Class A office space, parking, retail and high-end residential penthouse-style condominium units. Bergelectric is responsible for all electrical, fire alarm, access control, lighting control, CCTV and the core and shell work, as well as the build out of the 22 penthouse units.
