Summary: Getting the new Whirlpool office facility up and running in record time required both ingenuity and a real team effort. Serving in a design-assist role, Bergelectric worked closely with the project architect – HPA, a Newport Beach-based firm with special expertise in industrial facility design – and electrical engineer TDA Consulting. In addition to upgrading two existing electrical services from 400 amps to 4,000 amps and installation of a complete electrical-distribution system that included new generators for the $47.5-million facility, Berg crews installed a colossal amount of electrical infrastructure and fixtures in a remarkably fast-tracked schedule:
