Design Build Construction, Mixed-Use Development
The Rivet apartment mid-rise and retail development is named as a tribute to the 400+ women (known as “Rosie the Riverters”) who kept the Seattle Based Kenworth Trucks plant operational and productive during World War II. The original plant was located one block from where Revit is today. The new facility will have 131 loft, one- and two-bedroom units along with plenty of retail space on the ground floor.
Bergelectric, in yet another design-build effort with Holland Construction and MKE & Associate Engineers, was responsible for the preconstruction/design (in collaboration with MKE) and the installation of the electrical work on this facility—including fire alarm, security and tel-data installation.
