A “Fine” Residential Building In Portland

The Casey Condos  was designed to be one of the finest residential buildings in Portland.  They are located in the heart of the Pearl District at NW 12th Avenue and Everett. Rising 16 stories with 61 living spaces (mostly 1-2 bedrooms) on a quarter-block footprint. The average size of a home in the Casey is over 2,000 square feet with an average of only 4 homes per floor, creating a sense of privacy.

Completed in 2008, The Casey condos are amongst the most exclusive and expensive condominiums in the Pearl District.

Casey condos was the first residential high rise building in the USA to receive the coveted LEED® Platinum certification for “green” building. Designed to use 32% less water and 52% less energy than similar buildings. And it does seem that the market is willing to pay premium prices for green buildings.

In a design-build role, Bergelectric was responsible for all aspects of the electrical installation on this nearly 190,000-sf facility.
