Boldly Powering up Tesla Gigafactory
Bergelectric was involved with multiple projects at Tesla’s new Gigafactory near Reno, NV, where Tesla plans to build enough lithium-ion batteries to catapult Tesla’s electric vehicles into the mainstream. The facility is approximately 5.8 million-s.f. The activity generated by the project is no surprise. In addition to the halo effect associated with Tesla’s name, the gigafactory breaks new ground as far as lithium-ion battery factories are concerned.
